Nexperience Multifunctional car is an innovative mobility solution designed to transform the perception of vehicles for differently-abled individuals, combining functionality with progressive design aesthetics. Created by designer Riten Gojiya and team in 2012, this groundbreaking vehicle features a detachable smart chair system integrated into an asymmetric frame structure specifically engineered to provide protection from oncoming traffic on Indian roads. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design category, incorporates advanced technical specifications including a 2100mm wheelbase, four individual DC traction electric motors delivering 40 horsepower (10x4), and an eco-friendly super capacitor battery pack system providing a range of 150 kilometers. The vehicle's distinctive characteristics include its sustainable approach to materials, featuring recycled plastic wheels and interior components crafted from khadi and bamboo composites, demonstrating a commitment to environmental consciousness. Standing at 906mm in height and equipped with 17-inch front wheels and 19-inch rear wheels, the Nexperience employs a mono space aluminum platform that prioritizes both stability and accessibility. The integration of four super capacitor batteries, each rated at 4kW, and a 20V DC charging system ensures reliable performance while maintaining environmental efficiency. The design's most notable innovation lies in its ability to seamlessly transform between a conventional vehicle and an assisted mobility device, effectively bridging the gap between automotive design and assistive technology, while challenging societal perceptions and promoting inclusive transportation solutions.
