Botella De Vino Series Of Spanish Wines

Botella de Vino Series of Spanish wines is an innovative packaging design project that exemplifies the fusion of traditional Spanish wine aesthetics with contemporary graphic design principles. Created by designer Valerii Sumilov, this sophisticated wine label series employs a remarkable visual recursion technique where the concept of wine bottle is represented through four distinct layers of meaning: the physical bottle itself, the literal product name, a stylized bottle illustration, and typographic elements forming a bottle silhouette. The design, which won the Golden A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, showcases exceptional attention to detail through its implementation of advanced printing techniques on RAFLATAC artistic paper, including tactile varnish and blind 3D stamping for the bottle cap detail. The label's dimensions of 90mm width and 110mm height provide an optimal canvas for the intricate design elements, while the limited color palette emphasizes the sophisticated post-printing techniques. The project successfully balances traditional Spanish wine aesthetics with innovative graphic solutions, creating a memorable visual identity that effectively communicates the brand's essence through minimal yet powerful design elements. The design's unique approach to typography, where various Spanish-style fonts form the bottle's contours, demonstrates a masterful integration of form and function, while the implementation of premium finishing techniques such as foil stamping and volume varnish elevates the overall tactile and visual experience, making it stand out in the competitive wine market.
