Located in Ho Chi Minh City, this approximately 1000-square-meter establishment represents a groundbreaking approach to hospitality design, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The venue's distinctive concept, designed by architect Mario J Lotti, features a first floor that creates an immersive underwater atmosphere through various design elements including a DMX LED backlit mottled glass bar, fish-shaped DMX LED silk lanterns, and specialized H2O effect lighting systems. The ground level is further enhanced by fish tanks integrated into window openings and cement plaster fish scales adorning the walls, creating an encompassing aquatic environment. The second floor presents a contrasting above-water resort experience, characterized by a forest mural wall embedded with thin vertical mirror strips that interact with laser lighting to create dynamic effects suggestive of sunlight filtering through trees. The design successfully addresses spatial challenges through innovative solutions, such as strategic bar placement around central columns to ensure unobstructed stage views. The interior's material palette combines local resources with advanced lighting technology, while the overall aesthetic incorporates playful elements that resonate with local culture. The venue's functionality is enhanced through its dual-purpose spaces, typically offering simultaneous live music and karaoke experiences, with both areas featuring dynamic, music-responsive lighting elements that create an ever-changing atmosphere.
