Halle A By Designliga Workspace DesignHalle A By Designliga Workspace DesignHalle A by Designliga Workspace design is an innovative workplace transformation project that converted a former industrial machine shop into a dynamic contemporary office environment, earning recognition with a Gold A' Design Award in Interior Space Design. The project encompasses a 650-square-meter space with soaring 10.4-meter ceilings, masterfully balancing industrial heritage with modern workspace requirements. The design concept emerged from the intersection of architectural atmosphere, digital-age work requirements, and the contemporary desire for material authenticity and intimacy. The space features distinctive architectural elements including glass brick walls with eye-level windows, a combination of cross-grained larchwood parquet and concrete flooring, and exposed crane tracks that pay homage to its industrial past. The interior architecture is characterized by two ridge-roof structures containing two-story office spaces, which together with the original foreman's office create an intimate village square atmosphere within the vast hall. The design incorporates multifunctional storage solutions that double as standing workplaces and reception counters, while dedicated zones including a private staff kitchen and a visitor-friendly library facilitate various work modes and social interactions. This award-winning design exemplifies excellence in adaptive reuse, successfully preserving industrial character while creating a contemporary workspace that promotes collaboration, creativity, and community among its occupants.
