CHI On Jardine's Lookout Residential ApartmentCHI On Jardine's Lookout Residential ApartmentCHI on Jardine's Lookout Residential Apartment is an award-winning residential interior design project that masterfully integrates traditional Feng Shui principles with contemporary design aesthetics. Located in Hong Kong, this 2,028-square-foot apartment exemplifies the harmonious fusion of ancient Chinese philosophy and modern living spaces. The design's cornerstone lies in its meticulous consideration of chi flow, the vital energy force in traditional Chinese culture, which is facilitated through thoughtfully positioned architectural elements and carefully curated spaces. The entrance, conceptualized as the 'Mouth of Chi,' features an innovative interpretation of ancient coin patterns through dual-layered plywood with laser-cut circles, enhanced by LED lighting. The living area showcases an integrated fish tank within display shelving, positioned according to Feng Shui methodology to promote prosperity and harmony. The interior's sophisticated material palette includes walnut finishes, complemented by strategic lighting elements such as Catellini & Smith pendant lamps that accentuate material transitions. Each space within the apartment serves a specific purpose while maintaining design flexibility, from the pastel-colored baby's room to the professionally-oriented study area featuring green tones to promote productivity. The master bedroom presents a masculine aesthetic balanced with feminine elements, while the en-suite bathroom employs transparent glass divisions to create visual expansion. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2013, demonstrates exceptional achievement in interior space design through its innovative approach to cultural integration, spatial planning, and contemporary lifestyle requirements.
