One Plus Partnership Limited Office OfficeOne Plus Partnership Limited Office OfficeOne Plus Partnership Limited Office Office is an innovative and sustainable workplace design project that exemplifies forward-thinking approaches to commercial interior spaces. Located in Hong Kong and completed in 2013, this 358-square-meter office space represents a pioneering implementation of upcycling and recycling principles in professional environments. The design philosophy centers on creating an unconventional office atmosphere that immediately communicates its creative nature while maintaining a strong environmental consciousness. The space features distinctive elements such as cement walls and flooring, complemented by imaginatively repurposed furniture pieces, including chairs redecorated with thick black elastic bands, plastic straps, and greenhouse sun-screen netting. The meeting areas deviate from traditional conference room layouts, instead offering flexible table arrangements that create a café-like atmosphere conducive to creative discussions. Raw concrete floors, partition walls, and worktops provide an industrial aesthetic that encourages creative freedom, while stripped-back original concrete walls reveal their natural character. The lighting system demonstrates environmental responsibility through the implementation of LED chandeliers that gradually illuminate and energy-efficient track lighting. The design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to sustainable office design. This project stands as a testament to the possibility of creating sophisticated professional environments while adhering to environmental principles, effectively transforming waste materials into stylish, functional elements that serve both aesthetic and practical purposes.
