Wild Life Interior DesignWild Life Interior DesignWild Life Interior Design is an innovative interior design project that masterfully blends modern minimalism with African wildlife aesthetics, created by Egyptian designer Shosha Kamal. This psychology-based design approach harmoniously combines ethnic adventures with contemporary simplicity, utilizing a sophisticated neutral color palette of white, beige, and grey as its foundation. The design's distinctive feature is its dramatic entrance area, showcasing a suspended cow skin sofa complemented by hanging glass spheres containing artificial plants, creating a vibrant and dynamic visual impact. Completed between December 2011 and February 2013 in Cairo, Egypt, this project demonstrates exceptional creativity in overcoming the challenge of merging ethnic roughness with modern cleanliness while maintaining perfect balance and harmony. The design philosophy incorporates psychological principles through the thoughtful application of colors, patterns, textures, and materials to create not only aesthetically pleasing spaces but also psychologically beneficial environments. This innovative approach to interior design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its unique contribution to the field of interior design through its creative fusion of wild elements with contemporary aesthetics. The project exemplifies how interior design can transcend conventional boundaries by incorporating sustainable practices and psychological considerations to enhance the quality of living spaces.
