ZODIAC Pan-Asian Bistro Pan-Asian BistroZODIAC Pan-Asian Bistro Pan-Asian BistroZODIAC Pan-Asian Bistro Pan-Asian Bistro is an innovative restaurant interior design project completed in 2013, situated within Moscow's historic Smolenskiy Passage complex, exemplifying a harmonious fusion of contemporary design principles with architectural constraints. The establishment occupies a unique spatial configuration between a historical mansion's facade and a modern mall's glass wall, spanning 420 square meters with 220 square meters dedicated to dining space accommodating 115 seats. The design's most striking feature is its 12-meter-high vertical garden wall covering 168 square meters, creating an immersive jungle-like atmosphere that provides a dramatic contrast to Moscow's winter climate. The interior design philosophy embraces minimalism through the thoughtful integration of natural materials, including light oak furniture, exposed concrete elements, and copper piping details. Notable architectural elements include a sculptural concrete bar station featuring an innovative fabric-molded texture, a monumental five-meter wine and tea cabinet, and custom-designed features that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. The space successfully merges postmodern design elements with premium materials, incorporating Japanese-made minimalist furniture by Maruni and Italian lighting fixtures by Bocci that double as plant holders. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional space utilization and innovative design solutions, particularly in transforming a challenging architectural space into a sophisticated dining venue that seamlessly integrates with its surroundings while maintaining its distinct identity.
