Blessing Of Angels ResidentialBlessing Of Angels ResidentialBlessing of Angels Residential is an award-winning interior design project completed in July 2019, located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, encompassing a sophisticated 373-square-meter living space that masterfully integrates modern aesthetics with functional design principles. The project, designed by Mark Han and Simon Lu, is distinguished by its innovative approach to spatial organization, featuring a harmonious blend of public and private spaces that maximize natural lighting and panoramic views. The design's centerpiece is the striking use of Blessing of Angels stone as the main wall feature, characterized by its distinctive angel-wing texture and unique coloration that serves as both a visual focal point and a symbolic representation of the owner's aspirations. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial flow, incorporating a thoughtfully planned progression from the entrance, where a porch area is defined by an end-view cabinet and penetrating screen, through to the main living spaces. The public areas, including the living room, kitchen, and multi-purpose study, are designed with an open yet distinct layout that promotes family interaction while maintaining functional independence. Notable design elements include a V-shaped mosaic TV wall that enhances visual height, the strategic integration of reflective mirror materials and warm wooden elements, and the careful selection of marble with clear vein textures for major wall surfaces. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, successfully overcomes structural constraints through innovative solutions such as mirrored door arch frames that address beam limitations while creating progressive sight lines and spatial depth.
