The Modern Women Collection Print DesignThe Modern Women Collection Print DesignThe Modern Women Collection Print Design is an innovative textile pattern design project that exemplifies the intersection of contemporary aesthetics and traditional screen-printing techniques, created by Egyptian designer Nour Shourbagy. This sophisticated design collection, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design category, represents a thoughtful exploration of modern femininity through repetitive geometric patterns. The design concept uniquely addresses the duality of contemporary women, harmoniously blending strong, independent characteristics with subtle feminine elements. Implemented across various luxury fabrics including cotton, silk, and satin, the collection features meticulously crafted patterns in multiple color combinations, with pattern dimensions ranging from 190mm x 190mm to 275mm x 275mm. The production process involves a sophisticated combination of digital design and traditional silk-screen printing techniques, utilizing 4-6 screen panels to create the primary pattern forms. Developed between February and September 2019 in Cairo, the collection demonstrates exceptional versatility in its application across various garments including dresses, blouses, and scarves for winter wear. The design's significance lies in its ability to cater to the modern woman's multifaceted lifestyle while maintaining a distinct visual identity that seamlessly integrates into contemporary fashion contexts. The innovative approach to pattern scaling and color variation allows for diverse styling options while preserving the design's core aesthetic integrity, making it particularly relevant for fashion-forward consumers seeking sophisticated yet versatile clothing options.
