Shuimolanting Sales CenterShuimolanting Sales CenterShuimolanting Sales Center is an exemplary architectural interior design project that masterfully integrates contemporary design elements with traditional Chinese aesthetics, completed in 2019. The space, designed by Zhoumin Wei in collaboration with Miao Yuan and Weiwei Wang, represents a sophisticated interpretation of Oriental culture through modern architectural language. The design philosophy draws inspiration from Chinese ink paintings, where the name 'Shuimolanting' references the picturesque environment ('Shuimo' meaning ink) and the beautiful place of literary gathering ('lanting'). The center spans an impressive 46,930mm in length, 20,440mm in width, and features varying heights of 4,830mm and 9,030mm, creating a dynamic spatial experience. The material palette is meticulously curated, incorporating dark coffee red ground stone, omega grey marble, Vienna grey marble, and stainless steel, complemented by aluminum wood grilles and artistic copper lotus leaf installations. The design achieves a remarkable balance between light and shadow through strategic placement of floor windows, while custom installations featuring Chinese character structures add cultural depth to rest areas. The project's innovative use of materials, particularly the implementation of smallpox textures, demonstrates exceptional cost-efficiency without compromising aesthetic quality. The space's design successfully creates an atmosphere that resonates with potential homebuyers through its elegant interpretation of Oriental aesthetics, evidenced by its rapid sales success and recognition with a Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category for 2020, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary Chinese interior architecture.
