Shenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space Wine Aesthetics ClubShenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space Wine Aesthetics ClubShenzhen OCT Hengchuan MW Space Wine Aesthetics Club is an exemplary interior design project that reimagines a former office building into a sophisticated wine appreciation venue, spanning 760 square meters of thoughtfully curated space. The establishment represents a harmonious fusion of Eastern sensibilities and Western wine culture, featuring distinct functional areas including a wine tasting education center, social kitchen, wine cellar, restaurant, whisky leisure bar, and administrative spaces. The design philosophy emphasizes understated elegance through the strategic use of natural materials such as cement, marble, and raw wood, creating an atmosphere that balances practical functionality with aesthetic refinement. The space's architectural language is characterized by its sophisticated linear arrangements and abstract interpretations of classical wine-making motifs, rendered through contemporary material applications. The interior layout maximizes spatial efficiency through horizontal organization of functional zones, while maintaining distinct yet interconnected areas that facilitate smooth transitions between different activities. Recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, this project stands out for its innovative approach to creating a tranquil urban retreat. The design successfully incorporates natural lighting elements, allowing the interplay of day and night shadows to enhance the interior ambiance, while the careful selection of materials and thoughtful spatial planning creates an environment that promotes both social interaction and contemplative appreciation of wine culture. The project, completed in 2019, exemplifies how modern interior design can transform commercial spaces into sophisticated cultural venues that serve both educational and social purposes while maintaining an atmosphere of understated luxury and refined elegance.
