Tailong College

Tailong College is an innovative educational facility spanning 12,000 square meters, exemplifying contemporary architectural and interior design principles through its thoughtful division into three distinct zones: administrative offices, teaching spaces, and residential quarters. The design, conceived and executed by Black Lv and team in 2019, demonstrates a sophisticated approach to educational space planning that harmoniously balances functionality with aesthetic appeal. The project's conceptual framework revolves around the theme of sound and color, incorporating acoustic engineering principles in the teaching areas through the strategic use of sound-dampening materials and introverted gray tones to enhance learning environments. The administrative section features a remarkable design element where over 1,000 small fish motifs combine to form a larger fish, symbolizing unity and organizational vision. The spatial design philosophy emphasizes geometric structures and carefully curated color schemes that create a dynamic yet balanced atmosphere, while eliminating superfluous elements to maintain clarity and purpose. The interior architecture employs sophisticated material combinations, including wood paneling and varied stone flooring, creating visual depth and textural interest. This educational facility, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, showcases innovative solutions for modern educational environments through its integration of corporate identity, acoustic performance, and human-centric design principles.
