Suzhou Takosa Hair SalonSuzhou Takosa Hair SalonSuzhou Takosa Hair Salon is an exemplary interior design project completed in 2018 that reimagines the traditional hair salon concept through a sophisticated interpretation of French aesthetics and modern luxury. Located in Suzhou, China, this 400-square-meter establishment demonstrates innovative spatial planning through its strategic combination of open seating areas and private VIP rooms, catering to discerning clientele seeking both professional services and business networking opportunities. The design's distinctive features include meticulously arranged red and black arched doorways that create a sense of ceremonial progression through the space while establishing a dynamic visual rhythm. The interior architecture employs a carefully curated material palette, incorporating black cloud wallpaper, gold-plated stainless steel elements, carved wood veneer with Roman column motifs, and custom water jet-processed blue impressionist floor tiles. The sophisticated color scheme, dominated by Ferrari-inspired red and black tones accented with gold and blue elements, creates an atmosphere of refined luxury. Notable design elements include laminated glass treatments, velour fabric applications, and marble finishes that collectively contribute to an elevated spatial experience. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, successfully addresses contemporary urban professionals' needs through its thoughtful integration of privacy, functionality, and aesthetic refinement, ultimately establishing a new benchmark for high-end salon design in the region.
