This Gold A' Design Award-winning project features a distinctive 1,200-square-meter leaf-shaped extending roof, complemented by two curved aluminum walls that guide visitors through a thoughtfully crafted journey. The architectural composition includes a 1,673-square-meter visitor center, a 200-square-meter Zen book cafe, and a remarkable 145-meter jade ribbon bridge, spanning a total length of 245 meters. The design's most striking element is its dominant canopy, constructed from triangular mirror-finished stainless steel panels arranged at subtle angles to create a dramatic forward-extending curvature. The structure incorporates extensive glazing at ground level, maintaining transparent sightlines to the lake from various vantage points, while the innovative roof design serves both sculptural and practical purposes, providing essential sun shading for the local climate. The project, completed in 2019, showcases exceptional technical achievement in its complex 3D modeling and construction, particularly evident in the precise customization of individual units along edges and curves. The integration of a spiral staircase and transparent lift leads to an 8-meter-high lake view platform, while the entrance features a moon-inspired mirror tempered glass design that harmoniously connects with other metallic elements. The ribbon-like structure cleverly incorporates a children's playground beneath its sweeping form, demonstrating thoughtful consideration for multiple user experiences.
