Heytea Nantong Mixc StoreHeytea Nantong Mixc StoreHeytea Nantong Mixc Store is an innovative retail interior design project that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese architectural elements with contemporary aesthetics, situated within a 200-square-meter space in a prominent shopping complex. The design, conceived by Uno Chan, draws profound inspiration from the traditional Chinese bucket arches structure, reimagining this historical architectural element through modern stainless steel implementations, creating a harmonious fusion of cultural heritage and modern design sensibilities. The interior space abandons conventional hierarchical partitioning in favor of an open-plan layout that maximizes natural light and spatial flow, featuring an integrated seating and bar area that challenges traditional retail space definitions. The design employs clean white strip bricks on the primary wall surface, ensuring optimal transparency while maintaining a pure, minimalist aesthetic. Notable design elements include futuristic entrance portals with metallic finishes and ambient lighting that effectively capture pedestrian attention, while the ceiling's bucket arch structure extends along the spatial pillars, creating an intricate interplay of overlapping and interlacing forms that enhance the overall spatial rhythm. This sophisticated retail environment, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in combining cultural preservation with contemporary retail design principles. The project, completed in 2019, exemplifies innovative space utilization and cultural integration, creating a zen-like atmosphere through careful attention to texture, lighting, and spatial composition, while maintaining strong brand identity through its architectural elements.
