GreenPlax Footwear is an innovative sustainable footwear collection that represents a significant advancement in eco-conscious shoe design, primarily constructed from recycled plastic bottles retrieved from oceans. This innovative approach to footwear design, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Footwear, Shoes and Boots Design category, addresses critical environmental challenges, particularly the global crisis of plastic pollution where over one million bottles are discarded every minute worldwide with less than 4% being properly recycled. The design's technical specifications maintain professional standards while prioritizing environmental impact reduction, featuring dimensions of 11mm x 29.5mm x 10mm for a US size 9 men's shoe, and incorporating RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) as its primary material component.
