Shenyang Hunnan Exhibition Center is an innovative architectural landmark situated in the Hunnan district of Shenyang city, China, that masterfully combines exhibition space with panoramic viewing capabilities. Completed in 2019, this 1,400-square-meter structure represents a significant departure from traditional exhibition center design through its distinctive streamlined form and multifunctional approach. The building's most notable feature is its 45-meter-high observation tower, which provides breathtaking views of the Hunhe River and surrounding landscape through multiple viewing platforms arranged vertically throughout the structure. The architectural design draws inspiration from the flowing waters of the Hunhe River, incorporating curved elements and modern minimalist aesthetics that challenge conventional urban outlines. The center's facade employs sophisticated aluminum plating with gradual perforations that create dynamic snowflake-like shadow patterns during daylight hours, while extensive glazing enables seamless integration between interior and exterior spaces. The structure houses four intermediate viewing platforms that function as intimate spaces for water bars and book bars, enhancing the visitor experience through carefully considered social spaces. The building's innovative design, which earned it a Gold A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental integration and spatial efficiency. The center features a semi-enclosed garden space complemented by waterscape elements, creating a harmonious balance between built and natural environments.
