Actualization Of Free Life Residential ApartmentActualization Of Free Life Residential ApartmentActualization of Free Life Residential Apartment is an innovative residential interior design project completed in October 2019 in Taichung, Taiwan, that masterfully transcends traditional style classifications by seamlessly blending elements of both new classical and modern design approaches. This 238-square-meter property distinguishes itself through its unique L-shaped layout and pioneering dual traffic flow system, which efficiently separates public and private spaces while optimizing circulation patterns. The design, created by Li Min Chen, exemplifies sophisticated space utilization through its thoughtful integration of functional zones and aesthetic elements, featuring an elegant entryway adorned with stone and titanium-plated door frames that establish a grand ambience. The interior scheme demonstrates exceptional material articulation, incorporating tabu veneers in the study room adjacent to the living room, with a progressive color palette of dark gray and subtle green tones that harmoniously extend from indoor spaces to the outdoor terrace. Notable design features include a strategically placed mirror in the living room that amplifies spatial perception by reflecting exterior views, a private meeting room with subtle space transitions, and meticulous attention to surface treatments utilizing lacquers, paints, and steel elements to create composed and elegant textures. The project, which was honored with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, represents a significant achievement in residential interior design through its innovative approach to spatial planning and its successful actualization of free-flowing living spaces that enhance quality of life.
