Andalusian Beauty SalonAndalusian Beauty SalonAndalusian Beauty Salon is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Moroccan-Andalusian architectural elements with contemporary beauty salon functionality. Created by architects Aseel AlJaberi and Osama Tamimi in 2019, this 200-square-meter space masterfully incorporates distinctive features of Andalusian design heritage, including intricate geometric patterns, decorative arches, and vibrant color schemes. The salon's layout is thoughtfully divided into three primary functional zones: a styling area, reception and waiting space, and dispensary/washing section, each unified by consistent design elements that create a cohesive aesthetic experience. The interior employs a sophisticated material palette comprising gypsum, wood, ceramic and mosaic tiles, brass accents, and leather furnishings, complemented by geometric pattern wallpapers that reinforce the Andalusian design narrative. The project's innovative approach to spatial organization draws inspiration from the repetitive arch motifs characteristic of Moroccan architecture, reimagining these classical elements within the context of modern salon styling stations. This design excellence was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its successful integration of cultural elements with practical functionality. The space demonstrates exceptional attention to customer experience through its carefully considered flow between areas, enhanced by features such as a welcoming fountain and specialized retail zones, all while maintaining the authentic decorative richness of Andalusian-Moroccan architectural tradition.
