Nest Commercial Interior is an award-winning commercial workspace design that exemplifies the harmonious integration of professional functionality with sustainable architectural practices. This innovative interior design project, completed in 2018 in Surat, India, uniquely accommodates two distinct professional groups - advocates and architects - while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic environment. The design philosophy centers on creating a feel at home experience, acknowledging the significant time professionals spend in their workplace. The space features a thoughtful blend of Nordic style with local design elements, incorporating eco-friendly materials and traditional building techniques. The interior is characterized by its use of Kota stone foyer, terrazzo flooring, and lime-plastered walls that provide natural thermal comfort. Notable design elements include perforated GI sliding screens for security and visibility, reclaimed wood applications, and strategic interior landscaping that creates a biophilic environment.
