Flourishing Bouquets Residential Apartment

Flourishing Bouquets Residential Apartment

Flourishing Bouquets Residential Apartment is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully synthesizes Eastern and Western design philosophies, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. Created by designers Szu-Wen Wang and Chung-Ting Wang, this sophisticated living space harmoniously integrates French palatial aesthetics with Oriental feng shui principles, featuring an abundant array of floral elements and cultural motifs throughout its composition. The design's distinctive characteristics include a thoughtfully curated color palette dominated by pink hues, complemented by imperial emerald green and champagne gold accents that echo European royal aesthetics. The interior's architectural challenges, such as low ceilings and exposed beams, were ingeniously transformed through the implementation of ornate carved decorations that enhance the space's regal atmosphere. Notable design elements include a statement crystal chandelier, hand-painted wall murals with symbolic imagery, and strategic feng shui-oriented furniture placement, particularly evident in the 45-degree positioning of the main sofa. The entrance foyer showcases a striking peacock motif, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune, while the lounge area features carefully selected totems including litchi fruits and magpies paired with peonies, each carrying specific cultural significance and blessings for the residents. The integration of traditional symbols with contemporary design sensibilities creates a unique residential environment that successfully balances aesthetic grandeur with cultural meaning, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail in both decorative elements and spatial planning.
