Modern Jiangnan Beer Music Restaurant

Modern Jiangnan Beer Music Restaurant is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of contemporary craft beer production with entertainment dining, situated in Hangzhou's Qiantang River Century Park. This sophisticated establishment, completed in 2019 under the creative direction of designer Zhixue Wei, spans three floors and outdoor space across 1200 square meters, featuring a distinctive transparent glass facade adorned with a 9.9-meter-high illuminated beer bottle silhouette as its architectural signature. The space incorporates 22 beer fermentation barrels that create an industrial aesthetic while functioning as an active craft brewery, with a sophisticated production system connecting different floors through a dedicated black spiral staircase for brewmasters. The interior design demonstrates a careful balance of materials, combining the metallic sheen of beer barrels with zijin copper accents and understated smoky gray granite surfaces, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and casual. The venue's dynamic spatial arrangement includes a performance stage with a 3-meter LED screen on the first floor, complemented by opera house-inspired tiered seating on the second floor, while electric folding windows enable a seamless indoor-outdoor experience with views of the riverscape. This exceptional design, which won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, represents a significant achievement in commercial space design, successfully integrating brewing technology, entertainment, and dining functionality within a contemporary interpretation of Jiangnan architectural aesthetics.
