Dandelion And Wishes Wall Art Decor

Dandelion and Wishes Wall Art Decor is an innovative fine art installation that masterfully combines sculptural elements with painting techniques, created by contemporary artist Mahnaz Karimi. This distinguished piece, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category, represents a groundbreaking approach to resin art through its three-dimensional interpretation of dandelion seeds in flight. The installation consists of multiple resin bowls and plates ranging from 20 to 50 centimeters in diameter, strategically arranged across a 3 x 1.5-meter wall space to create an ethereal floating effect. The artwork employs a sophisticated color palette of white, gray, and gold, symbolizing the natural essence of dandelions, dimensional depth, and reflected sunlight respectively. Each component is meticulously crafted through a complex three-layer resin technique, where powdered pigments, paste pigments, and ink colors are combined with epoxy resin and hardener, then hand-formed to achieve unique shapes and depths. The installation process utilizes 10-centimeter fasteners to enhance dimensional aspects and optimize light reflection, creating a dynamic interplay between form and illumination. This piece transcends traditional artistic boundaries by transforming the conventional application of resin from flat surfaces to three-dimensional forms, while simultaneously conveying powerful themes of peace, freedom, and global unity. The work's conceptual foundation draws inspiration from the universal childhood experience of dandelion wish-making, elevating this simple act into a profound statement about world peace and harmony. The artist's vision extends beyond mere aesthetic appeal, as the complete collection aims to encompass 195 pieces, representing each country in the world, making this work not only an artistic achievement but also a powerful symbol of international unity and peace.
