Jinzhong Kylin Mansion ClubJinzhong Kylin Mansion ClubJinzhong Kylin Mansion Club is an award-winning architectural interior design project completed in 2019, exemplifying the harmonious fusion of modern aesthetics with traditional Chinese cultural elements. Located in Shenzhen, this 650-square-meter space represents a sophisticated interpretation of the relationship between human experience and spatial design, characterized by its minimalist approach and thoughtful integration of materials. The design philosophy follows the principle of less is more, incorporating white lacquer lines and marble art walls that pay homage to architectural master Scarpa while drawing inspiration from Chinese ancient painting traditions. The space features distinct functional areas, including a meditation zone highlighted by white tones and innovative spatial separation, a tea room named Matsuzaka inspired by Wang Wei's poetry, and a fitness area themed around forest jogging. Notable design elements include the juxtaposition of rough black stone skin with titanium-plated stainless steel, creating a dynamic interplay of textures and materials. The project, which earned the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, successfully creates a sanctuary of tranquility within an urban setting, embodying the concept of in a busy city, the heart lives in paradise. The design's attention to detail extends to custom features such as water ripples carved into marble, representing the solidification of time and the marriage of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistry. The space's sophisticated arrangement and material selection demonstrate a masterful balance between functionality and aesthetic refinement, offering visitors a contemplative environment that transcends typical commercial interior design.
