Jinzhong Kylin Mansion Hushan Art GalleryJinzhong Kylin Mansion Hushan Art GalleryJinzhong Kylin Mansion Hushan Art Gallery is a distinguished interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Oriental aesthetics with contemporary architectural principles, spanning 650 square meters of thoughtfully curated space. Conceived as a transformative design that evolves from a sales center into a sophisticated book bar and theme club, the project demonstrates exceptional foresight in its architectural planning and spatial organization. The design philosophy draws inspiration from Mies van der Rohe's flowing space theory, employing minimal partitioning to create seamlessly connected areas that blur traditional functional boundaries. The space features innovative elements such as rippled pattern stone flooring that evokes a sense of flowing water without its physical presence, reminiscent of traditional Japanese rock gardens, while light-transmitting white lacquered glass lanterns serve as focal points that marry modern craftsmanship with classical Chinese imagery. The gallery's distinctive design language incorporates fine wooden fence partitions, carefully curated art displays, and sophisticated carpet textures that work in concert to expand the visual depth of the space. The project, completed in 2019 under the direction of Yang Yuan and team, garnered recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary interior design. The space masterfully balances practical functionality with artistic expression, featuring thoughtful implementation of light and shadow interplay through elements such as barbed wires, wooden fences, and artificial pine arrangements that create an atmosphere rich in cultural depth and contemplative beauty.
