Hai'an Wanda Plaza Sales OfficeHai'an Wanda Plaza Sales OfficeHai'an Wanda Plaza Sales Office is an exemplary interior design project completed in 2019, representing a sophisticated fusion of oriental aesthetics and modern architectural principles. Located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, this 650-square-meter space masterfully integrates local cultural elements, particularly the city's symbolic Magnolia tree and historic mulberry culture, into its contemporary design language. The interior is thoughtfully divided into four distinct functional areas: Magnolia Hall, Inkstone Washing Pool, Golden Silkworm Workshop, and Collection Court, each contributing to a cohesive narrative of cultural heritage and modern luxury. The design, created by Liliang Shan and team, showcases exceptional attention to detail through its innovative use of materials, including glass columns, marble walls, and custom lighting fixtures, particularly notable in the chrysalis-shaped chandelier that illuminates the sand table area. The space demonstrates remarkable spatial planning with its reception area featuring dual rows of glass columns that emphasize verticality, while natural marble textures create dynamic horizontal movement. The negotiation area, dubbed Collection Court, incorporates extensive bookcase decorations and seamlessly integrated LED screens for marketing purposes, achieving a harmonious balance between commercial functionality and aesthetic refinement. This project, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies how contemporary commercial spaces can successfully marry cultural heritage with modern design sensibilities, creating an environment that serves both practical and aesthetic purposes while maintaining a strong connection to local identity and traditions.
