Stumbro Starka Bottle Design And LabelsStumbro Starka Bottle Design And LabelsStumbro Starka Bottle design and labels is an award-winning packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Lithuanian heritage with contemporary design aesthetics. The design features a distinctive dark glass bottle with raised calligraphic elements, complemented by a rich narrative label that tells the ancient legend of the beverage's origins. The design's conceptual foundation draws from the Lithuanian tradition of creating aged vodka to celebrate the birth of a first son, incorporating symbolic elements such as an oak leaf wreath-adorned stopper and a sophisticated stork character that serves as both a cultural symbol and storytelling device. The bottle's dimensions of 80mm width, 51mm depth, and 235mm height create an elegant silhouette that houses 500ml of the spirit, while the carefully curated black, white, and red color scheme maintains a reserved yet premium appearance. The design successfully bridges historical authenticity with modern appeal through its unique bottle shape and graphic elements that evoke century-old craftsmanship. The integration of the stork character, known as starkus in Lithuanian culture, as an hospitable innkeeper adds an engaging narrative dimension to the packaging, while the raised calligraphy and intricate label design contribute to a tactile and visually rich experience. This exceptional packaging design was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its innovation in combining cultural storytelling with sophisticated design elements. The project demonstrates excellence in addressing the challenge of modernizing a traditional brand while preserving its historical significance and cultural authenticity.
