I Really Like Math Interactive Textbook

I Really Like Math Interactive Textbook

I Really Like Math Interactive Textbook is an innovative educational resource designed specifically for the digital native generation, representing a groundbreaking approach to mathematics education through interactive learning experiences. This revolutionary textbook, created by designer Jaehun Kim and team in Seoul, Korea between 2018 and 2019, seamlessly integrates traditional print media with interactive elements, allowing students to engage with mathematical concepts through tactile manipulation and visual exploration. The textbook's distinctive design, measuring 235mm x 297mm with a depth of 29mm, incorporates specialized binding that enables the reconfiguration of learning materials for different curricula while facilitating the storage of supplementary materials. The design employs Montblanc Extra white 105g paper and features a unique cover that students can directly manipulate, encouraging personalization and creative expression. The educational content is meticulously structured around user experience principles, utilizing infographics and systematic color schemes to enhance focus and comprehension. Students can interact with the textbook through various integrated tools, including film insertions and magnetic elements, with page layouts specifically designed based on comprehensive user experience research that considers natural eye movement patterns. This groundbreaking approach to mathematical education, which won the Golden A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category in 2020, successfully balances educational effectiveness with engaging interactive elements, making complex mathematical concepts more accessible and enjoyable for students while maintaining rigorous academic standards.
