Natural Corner Residential

Natural Corner Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies modern country style living through thoughtful spatial planning and sophisticated design elements. The project, completed in January 2019 in Zhubei Hsinchu City, Taiwan, showcases a harmonious blend of contemporary aesthetics and natural elements, specifically designed for technology professionals working in the Hsinchu Science and Technology Park. The design's cornerstone features include a striking three-dimensional arch ceiling in the living room, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows that seamlessly integrate the outdoor landscape with the interior space. The color palette employs mild tones of white and grey as base colors, enhanced by strategic placement of green plants and carefully selected furnishings that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The open-plan concept unifies the living room, dining room, and kitchen, while thoughtful details such as a movable glass partition cloakroom near the entrance demonstrates practical space utilization. The project incorporates wood veneer throughout, creating a cohesive warmth, while different color schemes in individual bedrooms establish unique spatial identities. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial innovation and functional design. Notable technical achievements include the integration of air conditioning and lighting systems within the curved ceiling structure, which maintains optimal room height while creating an enhanced sense of spaciousness. The project successfully balances minimalist principles with functional requirements, featuring elegant decorations, artwork, and botanical elements that contribute to a casual yet sophisticated residential environment.
