HanKkeut Brand Identity

HanKkeut Brand Identity is a comprehensive visual communication system developed for educational materials, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category. Created in 2019, this brand identity system embodies the concept of all-in-one connection in learning, utilizing sophisticated design elements to bridge the relationship between students and teachers. The identity features a distinctive cover graphic that employs emanating strokes to symbolize ascension and progress, implemented consistently across all educational publications to establish a cohesive visual language. The design system incorporates vivid colors, embossed textures, and holographic elements to differentiate age levels and subject matters, while maintaining a strong yet simple aesthetic approach. Printed with harmless far-infrared ink in standardized dimensions of 220mm x 300mm x 10mm and 210mm x 297mm x 10mm, the identity system demonstrates meticulous attention to both form and function. The brand's success is evidenced by remarkable market performance, with over 22 million books sold by 2013 and continuing annual sales exceeding 1 million units. This achievement stems from its innovative approach to educational material design, where the visual identity effectively communicates the brand's core values of connection, achievement, and educational excellence. The design team, led by Creative Director Hanna Park, successfully overcame numerous challenges in developing a unique graphic motif that would represent the brand's educational philosophy while maintaining visual appeal and functional clarity.
