Table Dancers Stationery is an innovative series of office and art supplies that reimagines conventional stationery items through the artistic lens of dance and movement, designed by Zhang Yingli, Xv Hongxin, and Li Ruotong. This distinctive collection, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Art and Stationery Supplies Design category, comprises four essential tools: compasses inspired by ballet dancers, a paper knife resembling a graceful ice skater, a three-layered eraser representing anatomical depths from skin to bone marrow, and a tape measure ingeniously concealed within a shoe barrel design that extends like an elegant dancer's leg. Created in 2019 at Hebei University of Technology, this design challenges the traditional perception of stationery as merely functional tools by incorporating emotional and aesthetic elements that celebrate the beauty of movement and dance. The collection is crafted from non-toxic, lightweight plastic (PP) materials, with carefully considered dimensions for optimal functionality - the compasses standing at 140mm, the paper knife at 150mm, the eraser measuring 15mm×15mm×45mm for its erasable component, and the tape measure housing dimensions of 60mm×28mm×41mm. The design philosophy behind Table Dancers Stationery emphasizes the importance of finding joy and artistic expression in everyday office and study environments, transforming routine tasks into moments of aesthetic appreciation while maintaining practical functionality.
