Time Corridor Residential ApartmentTime Corridor Residential ApartmentTime Corridor Residential Apartment is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of oriental aesthetics with contemporary spatial design principles. Completed in March 2019 in Taiwan, this 130-ping SRC building renovation masterfully addresses the challenges of a long, narrow layout and structural constraints through innovative design solutions. The project's conceptual foundation revolves around the metaphor of time as a corridor, representing life's journey and the accumulation of meaningful moments. Distinguished by its sophisticated use of a mirror ceiling installation, the design brilliantly creates an illusion of expanded vertical space while incorporating elements of subtle luxury within a modern aesthetic framework. The interior architecture employs a carefully curated selection of premium materials, including marble, quartz tiles, iron accents, natural brushed veneers, specialized Japanese paints, engineered wood flooring, and imported wallpapers. A notable technical innovation is the integration of an energy recovery ventilation system, effectively resolving air quality concerns while maintaining the space's aesthetic integrity. The project, designed by Kevin Chu, earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its exceptional achievement in spatial design and innovative problem-solving. The design philosophy emphasizes the connection between human experience and spatial elements, creating an environment that resonates with both physical comfort and spiritual harmony, embodying the traditional Eastern concept of unity between heaven and human beings.
