Innato Collection Tableware Set

Innato Collection Tableware Set is an innovative ceramic tableware collection that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary digital fabrication techniques. This distinguished design, created by Ana Maria Gonzalez Londono, represents a significant advancement in modern tableware design through its unique approach to combining geometric precision with organic ceramic materials. The collection features carefully engineered pieces including cups and saucer plates, characterized by their distinctive geometric patterns and thoughtful functionality. Each piece is crafted through a sophisticated semi-manual process that begins with 3D modeling, followed by precise laser cutting and traditional ceramic casting techniques, showcasing the evolution of prototyping methodologies in contemporary design. The set's aesthetic philosophy centers on the duality between classic and modern styles, manifesting in the intentional juxtaposition of organic materials with geometric forms. The saucer plates incorporate an innovative indentation design that enhances stability during transport while creating additional space for accompanying snacks, demonstrating a careful consideration of both form and function. The pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, with cups measuring 7.5cm x 10cm x 7.5cm and plates sized at 14cm x 14cm x 1.3cm. This groundbreaking design, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, exemplifies how technological advancement can enhance traditional craftsmanship while maintaining aesthetic coherence. The collection not only serves its practical purpose but also acts as a conversation starter, elevating everyday dining experiences through its sophisticated design language and innovative production methodology.
