Yic Barbecue Market Restaurant is an innovative interior design project that reimagines the traditional barbecue dining experience through a futuristic and otherworldly aesthetic concept. Located in Suqian and completed in December 2018, this 280-square-meter establishment represents a groundbreaking fusion of contemporary dining and space-age design elements. The restaurant's distinctive design philosophy incorporates a unique alien dinosaur theme, featuring the ZILA monster character wearing an astronaut's oxygen mask at the entrance, creating an immediate visual impact and establishing a strong brand identity. The interior architecture employs sophisticated design strategies, utilizing mirror stainless steel to create a dramatic ceiling space that generates an immersive dining atmosphere. Rather than conventional spatial division methods, the design employs subtle transitions through color variations, decorative elements, and furniture styling to delineate different dining zones while maintaining visual continuity. A notable feature is the UFO-shaped smoke exhaust system in the barbecue area, which not only serves a practical purpose but also reinforces the space station theme. The restaurant's design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and brand experience.
