Beijing Jingyin Nanshan HotelBeijing Jingyin Nanshan HotelBeijing Jingyin Nanshan Hotel is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in 2019, representing a harmonious blend of contemporary design principles with traditional Chinese cultural elements. Located in Beijing, this 1,600-square-meter boutique resort hotel showcases a sophisticated approach to spatial design through its distinctive diamond-cutting-inspired courtyard layout and thoughtful integration of water elements, including private hot springs and swimming pools. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully employs various architectural and decorative elements to create a multi-functional space catering to diverse needs, from parent-child activities to wedding ceremonies. The project's distinctive features include water-corrugated metal plates creating montage-like reflective effects, glazed tree lanterns that reimagine natural elements, and textured walls in guest rooms that evoke splashing ink effects. The exterior presents a minimalist white building that purposefully understates its form to complement the natural surroundings, while incorporating transformed traditional sloping roof elements that pay homage to local village architecture. The interior spaces demonstrate exceptional material selection and spatial planning, utilizing different masses and materials to create distinct functional areas while maintaining visual continuity. The design philosophy emphasizes the harmonious coexistence of human activity and nature, achieved through the careful selection of materials such as mottled concrete, country sack chandeliers, and red brick elements, which are expected to develop character over time, enhancing the space's organic appeal and cultural authenticity.
