Sabre Travel Network Malaysia Corporate Office

Sabre Travel Network Malaysia Corporate Office is an innovative corporate interior design project that exemplifies the seamless integration of brand identity, functionality, and architectural constraints within a challenging angular space. Located in an environmentally conscious commercial building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this 5,000-square-foot office space masterfully addresses the complexities of a triangulated floor plan and tapered glass curtain wall through sophisticated design solutions. The interior architecture draws inspiration from geometric patterns and aviation themes, featuring a plush reception area reminiscent of premium airport lounges and strategically positioned cluster seating areas that maximize views of the surrounding urban landscape. The design successfully incorporates multifunctional spaces, including a transformable conference room with frameless glass wall panels that can be opened to create an expanded event area. The project, completed in 2019, showcases innovative lighting solutions through customized layered LED linear systems that harmonize with natural illumination, while bold color accents throughout the space reinforce the corporate identity. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in space optimization, sustainable design practices, and innovative solutions to technical challenges such as working with unmountable metal ceiling slabs and strict building regulations. The office layout ingeniously utilizes inter-column spaces for meeting rooms and storage, while maintaining an open-plan environment that facilitates collaboration and workflow efficiency.
