Chagall Lounge Airport Business Lounge

Chagall Lounge Airport Business Lounge

Chagall Lounge Airport Business Lounge is an innovative interior architectural masterpiece spanning approximately 1,900 square meters, designed to accommodate 385 passengers with sophisticated amenities and artistic elements inspired by the renowned artist Marc Chagall and the Volga River's natural flow. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning space, completed in 2020, represents a harmonious blend of functionality and artistic expression, featuring randomly shaped walls that undulate through the space, mimicking the geological layers formed by Europe's longest river. The design incorporates three distinct color themes derived from Chagall's artwork, creating visual separation while maintaining cohesive aesthetics throughout the space. The lounge's architectural elements include raised seating areas that provide passengers with enhanced visibility and privacy, custom-designed columns adorned with glass mosaic interpretations of Chagall's paintings, and sophisticated indirect LED lighting that accentuates the geological layers of the walls. The comprehensive facility encompasses essential amenities including sleeping boxes, shower facilities, meeting rooms, a children's room, and a kitchen area, all thoughtfully integrated within the organic flow of the space. The design philosophy prioritizes the needs of time-sensitive business travelers by creating an environment that offers visual, acoustic, and tactile comfort while maintaining efficient navigation and personal space. The innovative use of flame-retardant medium-density fiberboard for the 3D walls, combined with special wallpaper treatments and strategic lighting, creates a sophisticated atmosphere that earned recognition at the prestigious A' Design Award competition in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category.
