Brilliance Villa Residential House

Brilliance Villa Residential House is an exemplary residential architectural project completed in 2019 in Taichung City, Taiwan, distinguished by its sophisticated integration of luxurious materials and thoughtful spatial design. The 364-square-meter detached house masterfully employs a stable grey tone as its primary aesthetic foundation, incorporating various materials and linear elements to create both visual excellence and seamless spatial flow. The interior design, crafted by HSU FAN YU, showcases an innovative approach to luxury residential spaces through the extensive use of premium materials, including Volakas marble flooring and titanium-plated iron pieces inlaid with mirrors, which create an amplified sense of spaciousness through strategic light reflection. The public areas feature abundant stone surfaces complemented by sophisticated titanium elements, while the private zones demonstrate a harmonious balance between aesthetics and functionality through precise linear variations and calculated color coordination. A notable architectural feature is the implementation of French windows, which frame a specially designed waterfall wall outdoors, establishing a compelling connection between interior and exterior environments. The design demonstrates exceptional space optimization through innovative solutions, such as the seamless integration of functional elements within structural components, exemplified by the concealed restroom design within wrapped beam and column structures. The project's sophisticated use of materials, particularly the ceiling's titanium plate treatment combined with partial mirror projections, creates a dynamic interplay with natural sunlight, resulting in an ever-changing atmospheric quality throughout the space. This outstanding residential design was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, acknowledging its excellence in spatial innovation, material selection, and overall design execution.
