Majlis Private Club HouseMajlis Private Club HouseMajlis Private Club House is an exemplary architectural project that masterfully blends traditional Arabic hospitality concepts with contemporary design principles. Located in Dubai, this ground-floor L-shaped structure serves as a sophisticated private gathering space, embodying the cultural significance of 'Majlis' - an Arabic term denoting a dedicated hospitality venue. The architectural composition encompasses formal and casual living areas, dining spaces, two ensuite bedrooms, and a private office, complemented by a detached service block housing an in-house kitchen. The building's orientation strategically captures views of Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa on the horizon, while its innovative design addresses the challenges of its wetland location through advanced structural solutions. The structure employs thoughtful environmental considerations, featuring a protective canopy over triple-glazing glass envelope to mitigate the desert climate's harsh conditions. Natural materials, including stone cladding and marble interiors, were selected for their thermal properties and aesthetic appeal, while strategic vegetation serves both as a heat buffer and provides natural shading. The project, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial organization with three distinct zones, each supported by dedicated service corridors and utility spaces. This architectural achievement successfully merges the nostalgia of Arabian desert oases with modern lifestyle requirements, creating a contemporary interpretation of traditional Arabic hospitality spaces.
