Wen Niang Yellow Rice Wine is an innovative packaging design that revolutionizes the presentation of traditional Chinese yellow rice wine through its distinctive glass bottle featuring an elegantly embossed crane motif that wraps around 320 degrees of the vessel's surface. Created by designer Tiger Pan and team in Shenzhen, China, this sophisticated design masterfully bridges classical Chinese cultural elements with contemporary aesthetic sensibilities. The design's most striking feature is its departure from conventional ceramic packaging, instead utilizing glass as the primary material to achieve superior gloss and texture while maintaining visual transparency. Standing 260mm in height with a 90mm diameter, the bottle's graceful silhouette is enhanced by the intricately detailed crane illustration, symbolizing integrity, elegance, health, and longevity in Oriental culture. This design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, represents a significant advancement in alcoholic beverage packaging, particularly for traditional Chinese yellow rice wine.
