Longfor Dwell Realm Residential House

Longfor Dwell Realm Residential House

Longfor Dwell Realm Residential House is an innovative residential architectural project completed in 2020 that exemplifies contemporary Chinese urban living through its sophisticated integration of private and communal spaces. The development, spanning 75,032 square meters, introduces a groundbreaking residential concept that harmoniously blends high-density living with individual privacy through its distinctive semi-open outdoor courtyard design. Each residential unit features a luxurious 6.2-meter double-height space and expansive balcony areas exceeding 30 square meters, demonstrating exceptional spatial efficiency while adhering to sunlight ordinances. The architectural design showcases a sophisticated interplay of horizontal and vertical elements, particularly evident in its facade treatment where white aluminum plates of varying lengths create a rhythmic pattern complemented by transparent curtain wall sections. The project's innovative approach to sustainable living is manifested in its carefully engineered soil depth of 600 millimeters above concrete roofing slabs, enabling the creation of individual sky gardens for residents. The design, conceived by architect Xin Wu and team, emerged from extensive site analysis and consideration of the mountainous landscape and local cultural context, resulting in a big community with microsystems model. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category represents a significant advancement in residential architecture, featuring fully foldable doors that seamlessly connect interior spaces with courtyard landscapes, while maintaining privacy through strategic window placement on upper levels.
