Shimao Loong Palace-Courtyard Courtyard Of CloudsShimao Loong Palace-Courtyard Courtyard Of CloudsShimao Loong Palace-Courtyard Courtyard of Clouds is an innovative landscape architectural project located in the northwest of Beijing's Haidian district, encompassing approximately 17,000 square meters of thoughtfully designed space on the south bank of Shangzhuang reservoir. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project exemplifies sophisticated landscape planning through its masterful integration of multi-dimensional courtyards and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. The design's most distinctive feature is its ingenious utilization of a 4-meter height differential, transformed into a compelling multi-level landscape that creates an artistic dialogue between built and natural environments. The project demonstrates exceptional spatial organization through flowing curves and natural elements, drawing inspiration from the ethereal qualities of water, clouds, and light to create harmonious living spaces. The landscape design incorporates innovative cantilever structures and customized elements, from specialized ground pavements to bespoke outdoor furniture, all carefully crafted to enhance the user experience. Within the larger development, the deluxe courtyard section spans 1,120 square meters, with 760 square meters dedicated to courtyard space, showcasing an intelligent integration of garden features including mountains, rivers, light houses, cloud halls, and forest falls. The project's implementation required advanced virtual reality technology for design visualization and precise execution, setting new standards in landscape architecture while providing an elegant residential environment for urban elites.
