The Impact Of White Residential Landed House

The Impact Of White Residential Landed House

The Impact of White Residential Landed House is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the sophisticated integration of minimalist aesthetics with functional living spaces. This innovative double-storey residence, spanning 225 square meters, showcases a masterful application of white volumes that create an atmosphere of simplicity and mental clarity while incorporating strategic elements of wooden materials and timeless black accents for visual contrast and spatial definition. The design, conceived by Malaysian interior designer Tan Si Yuan, features a seamless flow between living spaces achieved through continuous ceiling lines and an innovative use of white marble that extends from the floor to the kitchen countertops, creating a cohesive visual narrative throughout the home. The project's distinctive features include a house shape cabinet that embodies the concept of home within home, providing both storage functionality and symbolic representation of family unity. The master bedroom presents a thoughtful contrast through dark-toned timber finishing and light grey textured walls, while the open-concept walk-in wardrobe demonstrates the designer's commitment to spatial optimization. The integration of a skylight glass roof in the wet kitchen area creates a dynamic connection with the natural environment, allowing occupants to experience environmental changes while maintaining the interior's sophisticated ambiance. This exemplary project, completed in 2018 and recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a significant achievement in contemporary residential design, successfully balancing aesthetic refinement with practical living requirements.
