Muse Edition Shopping MallMuse Edition Shopping MallMuse Edition Shopping Mall is an innovative retail destination that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of historical preservation and contemporary design excellence in commercial architecture. Located in a historically significant former dockyard terminal, this 3,000-square-meter retail space masterfully preserves and reimagines industrial heritage while creating a sophisticated shopping environment. The design's most distinctive feature is its remarkable waffle check ceiling, integrated with 273 LED panels programmed to simulate maritime weather conditions, paying homage to the site's nautical history. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional material sensitivity, incorporating concrete, brass, and stainless steel to maintain an industrial aesthetic, while the entrance flooring, composed of 100,000 pine wood blocks, evokes the experience of walking on ship decks. The space is particularly notable for its innovative lighting design, featuring custom-designed crystal fixtures inspired by lighthouse fresnel lenses, creating an atmospheric interplay of light and shadow throughout the interior. This retail environment, which won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully bridges past and present through its museum-like presentation of fashion, offering a carefully curated selection of contemporary luxury streetwear and ready-to-wear collections. The project, completed in 2019, represents a significant achievement in adaptive reuse architecture, addressing complex challenges including coastal environmental conditions and the delicate balance between historical preservation and modern functionality.
