Women Of Wonder University Brand Identity

Women of Wonder University Brand Identity is an innovative educational brand identity system designed to empower women through a comprehensive learning platform. Created by Lithuanian designer Salvita Bingelyte, this sophisticated visual identity system employs a strategic color palette where pink symbolizes femininity and opportunity, light blue represents openness and perspective, and dark blue conveys trust and knowledge. The design's cornerstone is a distinctive logotype that cleverly combines the initial letters to form the acronym WoW, creating a memorable and impactful visual element. This brand identity was developed for a twelve-week educational program that focuses on essential soft skills, creativity, self-discovery, and collaboration, addressing the growing need for work-life balance solutions for women in contemporary society. The design's versatility is demonstrated through its adaptability across various applications, featuring a dynamic logo that maintains its impact whether rendered in color on white backgrounds or in white on vibrant surfaces. The visual system stands apart from traditional university branding through its bold, contemporary approach and vivid aesthetic choices, effectively communicating energy and spontaneity while maintaining professional credibility. The project, completed in 2019, received recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to educational branding and its contribution to addressing gender inequality in higher education through design.
