Lovely My Casa ResidentialLovely My Casa ResidentialLovely My Casa Residential is an award-winning interior design project that transformed a 25-year-old residential space in New Taipei City, Taiwan, exemplifying innovative spatial reorganization and contemporary aesthetic principles. The 100-square-meter renovation, completed in October 2019 by designers Hsiao-Chi Chiang and Amber Wen, masterfully addresses challenges of fragmented layout, insufficient lighting, and structural limitations through sophisticated architectural interventions. The design's distinctive features include a carefully crafted entrance featuring semi-polished tiles and a built-in fish tank, creating a harmonious proportional division that sets the tone for the entire space. The living area showcases an elegant arched wall treatment that seamlessly connects the entrance to the television wall, effectively expanding the visual perception of space. The project's innovative approach to spatial planning is evident in its non-interface layout, which integrates the living room, dining room, and kitchen along a single axis, enhanced by a thoughtful material palette including latex paint, super wear-resistant wooden floor, quartz tiles, and strategic use of iron elements. The design prioritizes family interaction through an open-concept kitchen featuring a see-through bar, concealed range hood, and custom dining solutions, while addressing practical concerns such as pipeline reconfiguration and structural beam integration. The color scheme, dominated by white tones accented with sunflower yellow, creates a bright, welcoming atmosphere that maximizes the perception of space. This exceptional renovation project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, demonstrates excellence in transforming challenging architectural constraints into opportunities for creating a harmonious, family-centered living environment.
