Seeking Deer Sales Office is an innovative architectural interior design project located in Shanghai's central district that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of artistic expression and functional commercial space. This distinguished project, completed in May 2019 and honored with a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, spans an impressive 19,375 square feet across two meticulously planned floors. The ground floor encompasses a hall display area and conversation space, while the second floor houses VIP reception and office facilities. The design's most striking feature is its revolutionary approach to spatial boundaries, incorporating a dramatic floor-to-ceiling window that creates a compelling visual dialogue between levels. The centerpiece of the design is the remarkable Deer of Life installation, a 6-meter-long artistic creation visible from the first floor through the transparent barrier, symbolizing beauty, hope, and ecological harmony. The installation's metal butterflies and branch-like antlers create a sophisticated metaphor for natural vitality within an urban context. The project's location, adjacent to the commercial hub of Jing'an Temple and the natural landscape of Zhongshan Park, influenced its contemporary art museum-like atmosphere. The design successfully transforms what was originally a monotonous space into a vibrant, artistic environment through innovative use of materials, particularly the interplay between clear and frosted glass surfaces.
