Hanoi Doji Tower Gold And Gem Trading CentreHanoi Doji Tower Gold And Gem Trading CentreHanoi Doji Tower Gold and Gem Trading Centre is an architectural masterpiece and Vietnam's largest diamond-shaped commercial building, distinguished by its innovative fusion of classical and contemporary design elements. Located at a historic junction of three districts in downtown Hanoi, this sixteen-story structure, completed in 2019, serves as a premier gold and gem trading hub while simultaneously standing as a remarkable architectural landmark. The building's design, conceptualized by Do Minh Phu, draws inspiration from the geometric precision and brilliance of a diamond, featuring a distinctive six-level marble base crafted from premium Cream Marphil stone, crowned by a spectacular ten-level diamond-shaped upper structure composed of specially manufactured glass panels. Encompassing a total usable area of approximately 19,000 square meters, with 1,658 square meters of floor space per level and three basement levels, the structure dedicates its first five floors to a modern shopping center specializing in gold, gems, and jewelry, spanning over 5,000 square meters. The building's innovative design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category in 2020, showcases exceptional attention to environmental considerations through its specially engineered glass facade that manages light effects while maintaining energy efficiency. The project, which began development in 2010, overcame numerous technical and regulatory challenges, including the complex task of creating custom glass components that would simultaneously minimize glare and achieve the desired aesthetic effect, ultimately establishing itself as a symbol of architectural innovation and Vietnam's prominence in the gold and gem trading industry.
