Balmy Living Residential Apartment is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated spatial reorganization and innovative functionality in contemporary living spaces. The design, created by Yi-Chi Chen, showcases a masterful transformation of a residential apartment through strategic layout modifications and thoughtful material selection. The project's most notable feature is its ingenious public area reorganization, which maximizes natural daylight and panoramic views while repositioning the master bedroom from a northern to a southern exposure for optimal living conditions. The interior architecture incorporates high-performance elements such as titanium-plated doors with 300-kilogram load-bearing capacity, integrated as a main vista wall, complemented by rose gold-painted inspection openings that merge aesthetics with practicality. The living room features a distinctive arc TV wall adorned with stone and laminate hard plastic sheeting, creating a natural focal point enhanced by corresponding ceiling lines and carefully selected furnishings. The master suite demonstrates particular attention to environmental comfort, featuring sound-absorbing and humidity-regulating materials in its brick wall composition, while the bathroom showcases luxury hotel-inspired design elements including 120x60 silver fox granite wall bricks and honeycomb patterns.
